I am an interdisciplinary researcher currently exploring nanoparticles for clinical uses at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) and ETH Zurich. Recently, we decided to bring a technology from our lab to the patients. Check out Nanoglue for more.

Research Interests

After learning many cutting-edge technologies and methods in physics, chemistry and biology, I want to harness the clinical potential of these disciplines to improve human health. I work closely together with surgeons to exchange ideas and identify problems and solutions. This is a highly motivating and informative process that makes sure our work stays relevant.
